An absolutely wonderful stay with wonderful hosts looking after us and spectacular views from balcon

Positiv: The breakfast was excellent, full European breakfast with everything you could possibly want and more, Zigi would even make you eggs and bacon if you wanted. Our hosts, Magdalena and Zigi were wonderful people and so friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. They even took time to socialise with us and other guests and Zigi laid on a fantastic evening meal for us of local cuisine, so big, we couldn’t finish it. The views from the balcony overlooking Saalbach and Hinterglemm further up the valley were amazing, you couldn’t ask for better. The shower was also top class, powerful and endless hot water.

Negativ: As skiers were able to ski from the front of the hotel down on to the piste below but as the snow deteriorated we had to find an alternative which was a 150 yds walk to another way on to the piste. Coming home was a bit of a slog from two very local ski bars, the Hinterwag Alm with live music from 16.00 was good craic and the ice bar , even closer to the accommodation was also a nice place to watch the sun go down. To get into the town was a 15 minute walk down the piste or a 20 euro taxi ride, same price for return journey if you use the taxi firm recommended by your hosts, the taxi’s can take up to 8 passengers, not a problem if you have your own car though. Perhaps a little electric kettle to make a cup of tea/coffee in the afternoon or the boiler in the breakfast room would be nice. Ski rooms and boot storage was excellent and even a bench laid on to let you work at or wax your skis, wax supplied.

Good location right on the slope, friendly staff, normal breakfast. Perfect for skiing enthusiasts!

Negativ: could hear the morning alarm of the people upstairs. phone vibrating at 6 am.

Positiv: Erittäin hyvä ja monipuolinen aamiainen. Majoituspaikasta pääsi suoraan laskemaan hisseille.
